A DAD-of-two was killed when a deer smashed through a van windscreen. Passenger Malcolm Brown, 32, was struck by the animal and suffered severe head injuries.

The deer had been hit by another car and smashed into the van. Coroner Andrew Bradley recorded a verdict of accidental death. He told an inquest in Basingstoke, Hants: “When I heard about this, it was with disbelief. It’s one of those terrible accidents.”
